Hiccup with Personal Photo of completed BT43 taken by Bob Paton[edit]

It seems there has been a hiccup with my uploading of the personal photo of the completed BT43 taken by Bob Paton.
If appears it has to do with licencing on Wikipedia Commons. Despite reading the referenced information I can't work out what to do. If anyone is able to help out please do as it would be good to have this photo back in the Infobox.
In addition there are some other people I have contacted that have similar personal photos that would be good to upload so if someone can explain the details of "Wikipedia Licencing for a Dummy" like me it would help in these other cases as well.

I have advertised this discussion at WikiProject Motorsport. DH85868993 (talk) 23:24, 18 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Photo uploaded by Bob Paton accepted by Wikipedia Commons. Restored as Infobox Photo on this page. Resolved. Dora Domino (talk) 08:58, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues[edit]

This article reads like someone has written a magazine article and copy pasted it into wikipedia. It is certainly well below the standard. The lack of referencing alone could easily see this deleted. Needs links, categories. Reads like someone who joined wikipedia 10 minutes before posting the article without any knowledge of how wikipedia works. --Falcadore (talk) 02:23, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No need to delete, just remove speculation, add references, links and categories. --Falcadore (talk) 05:44, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wasn't mean to be an actual page yet so easier just to restore the redirect as it was (blank) and keep the text as a draft until I have the time to learn some how to do some of these things. To assist can you give an example of what is speculation please? Thanking You.Dora Domino (talk) 08:37, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Assuming "multiple issues" resolved as no response for over three months and since page accepted. Dora Domino (talk) 09:00, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Draft to "Real" Page[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Brabham BT43 a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Brabham BT43. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
