Why the Hungarian versions for each village?[edit]

For the commune, I understand, both in Hung. and German (German order and later Saxon castle, Hungarian Kingdom, Austrian Empire). But not more. There has never been a non-Romanian population there, except for the odd merchant or administator. One can dig out the Hung. names for each street and building (1867-1918, 1940s), but what for? Castle owners 1918[edit]

Who exactly were the owners, a civil or a (Lutheran) Church Saxon association? Which one exactly? Arminden (talk) 18:50, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It was the property of Brasov city (since the 15th century), and it was gifted to the Romanian royals by the Brasov magistrate, led by mayor Karl Ernst Schnell. It wasn't owned by the church. Whitepixels (talk) 11:33, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
