Capitalization[edit]

In spite of her record company's preference, shouldn't this be listed as "Break the Rules" in accordance with wikipedia's style policy? Jkelly 02:28, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No, I'm pretty sure not. For all proper titles we keep them as we should be. Sky (album), the pillows, etc. are all examples of Japanese bands/album that have odd (to us) capitalization schemes. We definitely want to keep it as is proper and I haven't seen a style policy that contradicts that. The "use the common English might work for well known figures like Mobutu Sésé (changed recently to Mobutu Sese) however for Albums that have no common English title we should use the Japanese title. gren グレン 04:06, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
We desparately need some commonsense on this topic over in GLAY's talk page. The style policy being claimed would, if universally applied, be detrimental to the iPod and ABBA pages. --BlueNight 07:23, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
