Article[edit]

After seeing Green post some items on MMORPG, I thought I would check whether he was, in fact, a game developer and not just some pimply-faced kid who fancies himself a designer. Well, I went on Dogpile (which I use instead of Google, since it is a metasearch engine that includes Google) and immediately found a bunch of relevant hits for "Brian Green Psychochold" on gaming websites, game development websites and game design conferences. The article is a bit stubby, but I am thinking he may be notable. --Habap 13:58, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Report of death[edit]

Sad news: A report on Twitter dated 2020-08-11, 23:24 US EDT, conveys that he "passed away of natural causes in Rockville, Maryland". That tweet was retweeted by his own Twitter account, @Psychochild, which also changed its bio to read "RIP Brian Green (1973-2020), MMO developer". I am not sure of the date of death, though (presumptively 2020-08-11?), or how to cite this as a source. I know Wikipedia can be wary of confirming deaths that are only attested on social media, and this is a tweet by a 3rd party. But in my opinion the subject's account retweeting it and changing the bio gives added confidence. A more definitive obituary might appear in the next day or two, which would simplify citing a source for this information. But I wanted to make a note of it here for now. If anyone knows how to properly cite "tweet that has been retweeted by the subject's account, which gives extra confidence" using our standard citation tools, feel free to go ahead, but I'm not sure how to do that. --Delirium (talk) 05:59, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
