Gated community? Fee to enter?[edit]

There are some details missing here. For example, checking out the entrance to the island via Google Street View reveals that there is a toll gate or something, so is this a gated community then? 68.146.70.124 (talk) 15:05, 9 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There's some kind of permit to take a car onto the island, but no charge for those using public transport or on foot. No idea about access by water - if any. Still, the Key is used as an example at gated community so YMMV. 62.196.17.197 (talk) 12:52, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio[edit]

The entire history section was a copyvio cut-and-paste job from its ref, so I've removed most of it and toned down the promotional tone. PaintedCarpet (talk) 15:28, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Specific demographics?[edit]

The 2020 population claim of 20,558 / the .162 square mileage gives a density of 127,000 psqmi. This is typical of places like Manhattan or other small tower block developments like Union City, NJ. But most of these investment condos are not highly occupied, especially year round. Brickell total has a high population density but the downtown area zip codes are not organized into the modern Downtown Development Authority borders, such as 'CBD', 'Brickell', or 'South Brickell' 'Brickell Key' etc. B137 (talk) 04:55, 19 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The whole of Brickell is only 32k ish this number is off by up to a factor of 10. B137 (talk) 04:57, 19 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
