Article needs work[edit]

There are several apparently biased references, with an abundance of peacock terms in this article, for example: "Since the late 90s, a number of first-rate teachers have retired..." There are also some items of questionable noteworthiness, for example: names of language teachers. The article is also missing references and verifiable sources. The article should be cleaned up per WP:NPOV and Wikipedia:Manual of Style to produce an encyclopedic article. I will strive to improve this article over the next several days and would appreciate assistance from the Wikipedia community. Truthanado 00:30, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have cleaned up the article and removed most of the questionable noteworthiness and the WP:NPOV text. Although the article could still be further improved, I believe it no longer needs the tags. Therefore, being the one who originally added them, I have removed them. I suspect the Wikipedia community will edit this article and continue to improve it. I'd also like to question the citation to Peter Dollinger. I could not even find this guy on google, he can't be that noted an alum. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.250.32.231 (talk) 21:06, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Major Work[edit]

This article needs major work. I've fixed the bulk of the grammatical and syntactical errors in the first half, and have also removed certain claims that have had citation verification requests pending for the past two years. However, the problems with the second half of the article are so severe that I am tempted to deleted the final two sections entirely. If no one disagrees, I will do so in a few days. The section on Athletics is rife with errors and clumsiness with respect to grammar, syntax, punctuation and usage - more than I have time to clean-up at one time; but unless someone disagrees, I will clean them up over the immediate near future. Scrutiny11 (talk) 12:47, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
