List of Champions[edit]

Who feels that it would be worth compiling a list of former British Rally Champions here? Certainly, from a Google search there doesn't seem to be a consistent and reliable source for such information online and it would surely inform us in our quest to provide details of title and category wins, etc., for subsequent World Rally Championship pilots amongst others. I took this off the WP:WRC to-do list a few eeks ago when I began compiling an article, but I gave up when it became clear that it would fail WP:V and WP:N. Unless you have access to some sources of which I am unaware (I have searched for books, so that really leaves old specialist press articles), it still does. Normally, I would AFD this in a blink, but I am as keen as you to see an article come out of this. However, the sources come first; then the article follows. Ah, well perhaps it is true that I adjust my horizons too readily in exchange for ideas for expanding articles of hirtherto uncovered (rallying) subject matter. I could simply list recent champions using references from annuals of course... if I can escape without it raising too many eyebrows that way (and obviously, on this very page, ie. no extra articles or categories etc).
