Mahler's date and year of birth[edit]

It would be good if this could be cleared up. Does Wikipedia have a policy for listing dob's for celebrities? IMDB lists his dob as 9-12-1950. It is confusing to have the Wikipedia page show 9-12-1948 and then link to "1950s Births" and to the IMDB page with conflicting information. CaliforniaAndie (talk) 05:18, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
