I added that the word böckling also means "faggot" as in derogatory term for homosexual male. I don't know if it is in all of Sweden, but I know it means that in Skåne.

My change was reverted by a bot, this is the reference to böckling meaning faggot: http://sv.wiktionary.org/wiki/b%C3%B6ckling

Objection[edit]

The article for "Kipper" states that "Buckling" is smoked as a whole.

  -----------   I ate böckling every summer my whole childhood and never once was I served a böckling without the head. If you image search böckling you'll find a lot of images showing them with heads. --Tuvull (talk) 10:42, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
