Sports

Either British sports are getting crazier or someone's having fun with your page. I don't know enough about your town/sports to know how much of it is BS, but someone should take a look. Maybe check out the entire page for additional vandalism. Fvckscalia (talk) 11:24, 12 November 2014 (UTC)

Untitled

I have tried to improve the layout of the page, and make it more interesting to the casual reader. There is still some work to do; I would particularly like to include some visitor statistics, especially relating to the prime (1960 or so, I suppose) Afterbrunel 14:36, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Jean Rhys

A few days ago I added a section on Jean Rhys to the notable residents bit. What I wrote was accurate and well-researched, but it has been removed. Perhaps someone can explain why?

It is sometimes formerly known as Bude Haven

The "It is sometimes formerly known as Bude Haven" line sounds wrong, to me. It sounds as if it should either be "It is sometimes formally known as Bude Haven", or "It was sometimes formerly known as Bude Haven". Which should it be? My money would be on "formally".
