History of the endboard of Bumper Films in 1983 [only seen on Rocky Hollow]

At the end of all 26 episodes Rocky Hollow the only end credit after the black silhouetted gate was shut (but opened in the Rocky Hollow opening credits) read "Produced by Bumper Films Ltd for S4C" underneath it in yellow bold font. The copyright stamps below were for Rockscene Ltd in 1983 and S4C in 1985.

Details about the two Bumper Films logos from "bumper boat" logo (1987-1994) to "pudgy font" logo (1998-2002)

The logo was two children on a bumper boat with a yellow flag and black writing saying "BUMPER FILMS". The boy was enjoying the ride and the girl was looking through a telescope. The music or sound was a splashing sound or a whooshing sound. The logo can still be seen on Fireman Sam classic DVDs with the HiT Entertainment and S4C logos, and VHS tapes from 1988 to 2005 with the original logo. Some people think it's scary because of the splash or the whoosh and the boy. and some may be scared of the whole logo. in 1992 when Joshua Jones aired on the BBC and in 1994 when fourth series of Fireman Sam aired on the BBC, the flag was changed to blue, the flag's writing was changed to white and the splash on the back was changed to smoke whooshes. Only Fireman Sam and Joshua Jones were the only Bumper Films/BBC/S4C shows to be conjected by Prism Art and Design Ltd.

When Starhill Ponies aired on CBBC in 1998, Bumper Films had a new logo, the boat was gone and just says "Bumper Films" in blue pudgy font along with the Mike Young Productions, BBC Worldwide and S4C logos.

History about the 1st Bumper Films logo from 1987 to 1994 [only seen on Fireman Sam and Joshua Jones]

Logo: The screen fades to a white background, and a picture of a dodgem car (or boat) fades in. Inside it are a boy with his arms out and a girl looking through a telescope. On the car is a yellow flag with the company name in black writing. The whole symbol is coloured blue and yellow. Underneath the dodgem car is the text "BUMPER FILMS Ltd for S4C", with "for" written in Gill Sans and "S4C" being in said channel's 1982 corporate typeface. A copyright stamp attributing Prism Art & Design Ltd with the year copyright in 1987 is displayed underneath.

Variants:

• On the original debuts of the first series of Fireman Sam in 1987, "with thanks to the Fire Service" is written in Gill Sans under "Bumper Films Ltd for S4C".
• From 1988 onwards, the "S4C" text was updated to match the channel's then-new logo. and on the Season 1 of Fireman Sam reruns on the BBC in 1988, the font of "for", "and", "Prism Art and Design Limited", "with thanks to the Fire Service" and the 1987 S4C copyright were all shown in written in Gill Sans under the "BUMPER FILMS Ltd" caption. plus the logo of "S4C" in 1988 font is between the "for" caption and the "and" caption underneath the caption "BUMPER FILMS Ltd" is seen too.
• On Joshua Jones, the colours on the flag are inverted [e.g. blue flag with white writing], and the copyright text is different. Instead, it reads "BUMPER FILMS" in blue Futura Condensed under the boat picture, and then "for" and "S4C, BBC, Prism Art and Design" underneath the FOR logo. below that are copyright stamps for Rob Lee in 1989 and S4C in 1991. it was also seen at end of the fourth series of Fireman Sam with the blue Futura Condensed "BUMPER FILMS" writing under the boat picture [same as Joshua Jones with the blue flag with white writing] with the captions of "for S4C and" with "Prism Art and Design Limited" and "with thanks to the Fire Service". below it is the copyright stamp for S4C in 1994.

History about the 2nd Bumper Films logo from 1998 to 2002 [only seen on Starhill Ponies]

Logo: On a white canvas background, we see the words "Bumper Films" under the Mike Young Productions logo in a blue pudgy font. Underneath the symbol reads "for S4C" with "S4C" being in the channel's then-current logo typeface from 1995-2007 and in Series 1 of Starhill Ponies the recent BBC Worldwide logos are seen.

Variants:

• In Series 1 of Starhill Ponies in 1998 the "S4C", "BBC" and "BBC Worldwide" logos are seen underneath the "for" caption. below that are copyright stamps for S4C in 1998 and Maria Jones in 1995. On the last four episodes in Series 1 of Starhill Ponies the 1998 copyright (between the "S4C" and "All rights reserved." text) has been changed to MCMXCVIX copyright as opposed to the actual year 1999.
• In Series 2 of Starhill Ponies in 2002 just the "S4C" logo are seen underneath the "for" caption. below that are copyright stamps for S4C in 2002 and Maria Jones in 1995. to prove that Series 2 of Starhill Ponies wasn't shown on BBC at all — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.3.92.47 (talk) 15:09, 22 May 2014 (UTC)
