Untitled[edit]

Hey, can anyone extend this article. It still lacks significant material, especially since it is such a huge thing in the country. Pics, etc will be good too. --Noypi380 10:05, 9 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm requesting a cleanup, and extension. --Noypi380 11:57, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
More data on the country's cost advantages too pls? --Noypi380 08:39, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"A survey by Kelly Services, Inc. based in Michigan, showed that India is no longer the first choice of U.S. companies looking to setup their offshore backroom operations." McKinsey says India is still the top outsource location. I'm not very familiar with Kelly Services, that's why I'm doubting the reliability of its study, but if anyone can post a link to the study mentioned above, I'd be happy to review it.--Miresil 06:44, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Industry associations such as the BPO Services Association (BSAU www.bsau.org) and Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP www.bpap.org) promote good practice and self-regulation in the industry.

These external links, along with another were in the External links section, which I removed for the same reason: their inclusion appears promotional in nature rather than being external sources of meaningful, relevant content. --Ronz 16:54, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am familiar with BPAP - it is agenuine industry body and not a commercial entity seeking direct engagement with any clients - they conduct research and provide information to companies wishing to get into the Philippine market. As such I think it is a genuine inclusion for any article on the industry in the Philippines. 122.54.69.40 (talk) 01:19, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
