Comments[edit]

I removed Christy Carlson Romano, pending evidence that she is referred to by that in the media or such. We generally don't have people's initials unless they are known by them (ie LBJ, JFK, MLK, etc.). There is no reference to Mark David Chapman at MDC, nor Helen Gurley Brown at HGB, nor J. Edgar Hoover at JEH, etc. -R. fiend (talk) 16:53, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I propose adding another to the list soon: CCR - Counterparty Credit Risk

If there are no objections? GeoffmTurner (talk) 13:29, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 27 March 2016[edit]

The result of the move request was: not moved. Consensus is that Creedence Clearwater Revival is not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for "CCR". (non-admin closure). SSTflyer 08:54, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

CCRCCR (disambiguation) – I think it would save a lot of people a lot of headaches if we were to just put all of the varied modifications of the term "CCR" as redirects to Creedence Clearwater Revival. Thoughts? 2602:306:C478:5C90:1D1:410E:4941:8A30 (talk) 04:24, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Strong oppose clearly not. This is not AllMusic -- 70.51.46.39 (talk) 04:54, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose: no evidence that the band is much more likely to be sought than all the other entries put together. PamD 08:56, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose and speedy close. Come on. In ictu oculi (talk) 13:59, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, as there are lots of possibly meanings for that set of letters, and Creedence (as wonderful as they are) don't come anywhere near being the primary meaning. —Torchiest talkedits 16:25, 2 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
