CNFE ClairefontaineFrench Women's Football Pole – Academy is not longer in Clairefontaine and there are valid sources saying the name of the academy has changed since it moved from Clairefontaine to Paris. dashiellx (talk) 15:37, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose: Even though it is no longer based in Clairefontaine, the women's elite academy run by the FFF is still commonly referred to as Clairefontaine, so per WP:COMMONNAME it should not be moved. Even if it were to be moved, it shouldn't be moved to the title nominated here; Pole is not the correct translation for the French word pôle in this context. When I had this typed up in my editor, I wanted it to be French Women's Football Pôle as I wasn't 100% sure of the exact translation, but when I copied it over I guess the accent was lost and I didn't notice. When I think Clairefontaine, I think the men's academy as that is the institution I am more familiar with, but I definitely see your POV. --dashiellx (talk) 13:56, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose - none of the apparent 'valid sources' have actually been provided supporting the name change... GiantSnowman 13:19, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
