A question[edit]

Without wishing to re-do the whole Ty Gwyn / Crossways question..... Are we sure that Caer Llan is the best name for this article? And, what area does it cover? So far as I'm aware, Caer Llan is the name of a house rather than a hamlet, though there may be one or two other properties besides the house that include that name in their postal address. There is also an "area" - certainly a house, and in my view a hamlet - called Lydart. But, that area is close to, and arguably part of, the area called Mitcheltroy Common. There is also an important house and garden (maybe justifying its own article - I'm not sure) just to the south of Caer Llan, at High Glanau. Before this article goes much further, can we all be sure that we know what its scope is, and hopefully agree on its title? Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:15, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've modified this article, to focus on the house and the SSSI. There is a need to cover neighbouring areas and nearby houses as well, but under a different article name or names. I've removed the photo, because it is of Lydart, not Caer Llan - Caer Llan is actually within the wider area known as Lydart, but not vice versa. Ghmyrtle (talk) 23:48, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
