I added the "unreferenced" template because one question in the 36^th IChO discussed attempted synthesis (by reduction of CaCl₂ by Ca, H₂ and C) of this compound, but they all failed (the product is mixture, CaClH, and Ca₃C₃Cl₂ respectively).
