Questions of fact[edit]

The heading says "Category:Defunct cricket grounds in India" but the article says cricket is played there. Which is it?

Also, women are not mentioned, but today women play field hockey and tennis and other sports. Do women play at this club, or is it still an all male club?--Dthomsen8 (talk) 00:28, 3 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Foundation date[edit]

Hello,

In Calcutta_Cup#Calcutta_Club, it is said that the Calcutta Football Club was founded in 1873, and an internal link refers to this article.

Is this article's foundation date wrong or is the link in Calcutta Cup erroneous and should refer to another club?

Thank you, --Daehan (talk) 15:53, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oops ok, these clubs were merged, sorry. --Daehan (talk) 15:55, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Calcutta Cricket and Football Club's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
