Kal link incorrect[edit]

But I'm not sure how to put in the correct one; it has spaces => "http://calband.berkeley.edu/media/cal-songs/#California Drinking Song". Fun fact: LSJUMB also sings this (with slight variations on the words), but they don't publicize the lyrics of their bus songs. --AntiSlice (talk) 04:48, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

The thought that this was just made up by peopel one day is preosterous! ask any cal alumni about this song and they will have memories about it. The link to the cal band page alone serves as proof enough. There was already a link to this page before I created it! Jscg (talk) 19:29, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

CorenSearchBot is in error; the "copyrighted" material in question are the lyrics to a song in the public domain. Jscg (talk) 19:34, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is no authorship established for this song. So, that person/group might still be alive (70 years after last surviving author)? Unclear copyright status in my mind.--Lucas559 (talk) 18:33, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If Wikipedia is not a lyrics page, User:Antiuser, someone has got a lot of editing to do! The Stanford Jonah, staying in the realm of Cal songs but then there's the page that links to this one: Drinking Song and even America the Beautiful. The lyrics to a song like this are the main reason for singing it and furthermore, this song is an important part of the UC Berkeley's history and traditions. I hope you will consider allowing the edits to stay. Jscg (talk) 19:52, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
