Haute-Seine and Canal de la Haute-Seine[edit]
There is a confusion between "Canal de la Haute-Seine" and "Haute-Seine".
- The Haute-Seine or Upper Seine is a navigable part of the Seine river joining Paris and Montereau-Fault-Yonne (see Seine).
- The canal de la Haute-Seine or Upper Seine Canal is a lateral canal to the Seine river joining Marcilly-sur-Seine and Troyes (see french page fr:Canal de la Haute-Seine).
