  • I don't think this is a hoax since I had a Canary melon today. I'll take some photos and get a better listing out of The Western Garden book to substantiate this claim. Until then, I'm removing the tag (ADStark 15:05, 16 August 2007 (UTC))[reply]
I've eaten them many times. Prod removed. DGG (talk) 21:23, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Also, I think the bit about the dispute about the origin of the Canary Islands' name is entirely irrelevant to the melon. That's like two degrees of separation. Glitterglue 01:47, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate of Korean Melon[edit]

New to Wikipedia and spotted this page being a duplicate of the Korean Melon (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_melon). Canary Melon is just another common name. Likely the pages need to be merged and one redirected. Bryancasler (talk) 00:16, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
