The articles seem to discuss the same martial art. The French Wikipedia uses the title "Canne de combat", which seems the better one. Korg (talk) 21:53, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree there should be one article. But this one needs the info on non-FSBF canne and needs significant language repair (particularly in the rules sections where it's clearly pretty direct translations from the French).~~~~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Peregrine (talkcontribs) 01:09, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

" There is reputed to be a group who operated during the Nazi occupation who used cane techniques to carry out assassinations" : This "information" is without sources, and look quite weird, difficult to imagine french resistants use cannes to figth the nazis... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.56.235.97 (talk) 23:06, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't find the notion of some resistors, having previously been trained in the art, taking up a weapon that the occupying forces might have difficulty confiscating and using it with lethal effect. Of course, it would be better with a suitable reference. Wcoole (talk) 23:31, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Grades section[edit]

Somebody who is more familiar with canne than I needs to take a look and clean up the "grades" section. It is significantly more in-depth than the frwiki article on the same topic, and knowing nothing about the organization, I am at somewhat of a loss as to how to fix the translation. eldamorie (talk) 16:35, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
