Location[edit]

This article says Cannon Hill Park is in Edgbaston, however, this says it is in Moseley. So can anybody enlighten me to which is correct? - Erebus555 16:47, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As can be seen from the MAGIC map linked from the grid reference, the River Rea forms the boundary. The car park is in Edgbaston Constituency, but the park is entirely in Selly Oak Consttuency, so Moseley would be correct, as far as I can see. Oosoom Talk to me 10:05, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In which neighbourhood is it located?[edit]

Neighbourhood boundaries of cities and towns tend to be rather vague. When people refer to "Edgbaston", "Moseley", "Selly Oak" or whatever, they are not usually interested in defining a precise area. As far as I'm concerned, the Park is where these three neighbourhoods meet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.80.68.90 (talk) 10:23, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The area west of Pershore Road at the top end of Cannon Hill Park is actually Selly Park. I'm not sure where the boundary between Moseley and Edgbaston is but at a guess I'd say it was the river Rea, which would put most of the park in Moseley. Aynuk N. Ayli (talk) 08:48, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The boudaries are not vague at all. Refer to the map in the link above. The park is clearly in Moseley, as the Moseley article also makes clear. If you wish to argue differently, link to a map that supports your claim.--Shantavira|feed me 14:28, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
