ICF confirmation of Olympic places at the World Championships[edit]
The ICF released some days ago a table containing the national federations that guaranteed quota places for each of the Olympic canoe/kayak events contested at the 2011 Canoe Sprint World Championships. There, it shows some adjustments based on the fact that multiple boat quotas were obtained by the same athlete and so they gave the extra quota to the next best ranked non-qualified federation. I haven't seen these changes applied to this page, so I wondered if it was because there's an unknown rationale for not doing it or it's just simply because no one remembered yet? If there's an official document then it should be added. I don't know of any rationale for not doing so. I guess this just wasn't added yet because the situation is rather complicated. MrYIndeed (talk) 19:20, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
ICF had the news (with attached table) on their website but since they don't update their news archive (still in February 2011), the page is now gone from the "latest news" and the table with it. I have it but I cannot source my computer, can I? I'll try to find it online. Parutakupiu (talk) 19:39, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
