Merges[edit]

I have suggested that Delaware (Cape May-Lewes Ferry), New Jersey (Cape May-Lewes Ferry) and Twin Capes (Cape May-Lewes Ferry) be merged into this article. Joelito 23:17, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good to me. --Boothy443 | trácht ar 04:39, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"The part I can't see looks small"[edit]

The article curretnly includes this sentence:

Because of the ships' shallow displacements, the ships appear almost barge-like, sitting directly atop the water, from a distance.

Please excuse the question of an ignorant landlubber, but how does a ship look like it's sitting atop (rather than in) the water? If the M.V. Cape May were modified to have a "taller" hull (i.e. one that extended farther down into the water), then weighed down with extra ballast to compensate, so that the same amount of boat showed above the surface, wouldn't it look exactly the same? How can a boat look like it has a certain amount of draft (since draft is, by definition, the part you can't see)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.44.94.154 (talk) 01:59, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Added[edit]

I added a knots conversion to mph. Some people do not know what 1 knot converts to--Kopicz 02:02, 11 March 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bkopicz3 (talkcontribs)
