time traveling denomination

"Capital was founded by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in 1830." That is pretty amazing considering the ELCA was founded itself in 1988. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Skippypeanuts (talkcontribs) 02:31, 4 October 2014 (UTC)

Agreed something anachronistic here.--Erp (talk) 05:26, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
Fixed and cite added. BTW if it started life in 1830 as a Theological Seminary and did not become a 'university' until 1850 does one use 1830 or 1850 for the claim as 'oldest university'? --Erp (talk) 05:39, 21 November 2014 (UTC)

Small Subject Corrections

Hello Wikipedieans!

I'm new to all this suggesting edits thing, so please go easy on me. There are a few minor details that are incorrect.

In the "Harry C Moores Student Union" section, it says that Aramark is the food provider at Capital; however, it is currently Aladdin.[1]

In the "Academics" section, there is no mention of the Convergent Media Center, also known as the CMC, which is a newer academic building on campus.[2]

That's all! Thanks for sticking with me.

I added information on the Convergent Media Center. I removed any mention of the food service provider because it's just not encyclopedic. Indyguy (talk) 16:56, 16 February 2022 (UTC)

Presidential Change

Hello!

In 2019, Beth Paul, Capital's former President, announced she would be leaving in 2020.[1]

Following a nationwide search, the board of trustees announced David Kaufman as interim president in June of 2020. As of July 25, 2021, he was selected to serve as the 17th president of Capital.[2]
