Carabao Dang / Carabao Daeng[edit]

As per ISO 11940 and Royal Thai General System of Transcription, I have renamed the article and switched every occurrence of "Carabao Dang" to "Carabao Daeng". This should be a cautionary note against using only the sacrosanct "references" from English-language media articles written by non-Thai speakers without checking transliteration rules. As there is just *no way* any native English language speaker listening to the original Thai: แดง (Thai pronunciation: [dɛːŋ]) would write that as "dang", I am guessing that the journalists based themselves on a proper transcription and they or their editor didn't find the "æ" grapheme to their taste. As per what has been done for Krating Daeng, I am not using the preferred RTGS transcription of "แ-" as "æ" but the accepted version "ae" by the way. Rdavout (talk) 13:29, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The product appears to be marketed internationally as Carabao Energy Drink. That might be the common English term. --Paul_012 (talk) 09:13, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
