Hi, I've picked up this review. Looks pretty good, just a few comments and suggestions:

lead: link Texas, confluence
History: link/define Tejas; 2000 census; gated community
"oddly shaped Piper Lakes" what's odd about their shape?
should give metric conversions for distances
"Carancahua Bay is protected by the State of Texas" would protected area be a useful link here?
300 member -> should be hyphenated
link pH
link shrimping
"save for a small slither of water" should this be "sliver"?
"believed to contain 33 Billion Cubic Feet of natural gas" why the capitals? (and needs metric conversion)
"to develop ten reserves in the area" what is a reserve?
