http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Jews_in_sports identifies him as having Jewish ancestry, which I'd never heard before. Is it correct? --MartinUK 18:13, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A September 1991 Noticias article on Reutemann as governor-elect of Santa Fe mentions that he is "a descendant of Swiss-German immigrants, marked by a Jesuit upbringing." Hope that helps. 98.166.165.128 (talk) 07:40, 2 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Death of Carlos Reutemann[edit]

Hi Carlos Reutemann died yesterday night, his death should be added to the article

His death is mentioned in the final paragrapgh of the lead. Long-term, we proably want a "personal life" section, which would include his ill-health and circumstances of his death.
