Separating Carnival Corporation & PLC from CCL[edit]

Information regarding the corporate crimes and the ships operating under other brands properly belongs in the article about the parent holding company, not this one which should be dedicated to the cruise line itself. Epthompson (talk) 05:41, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The court action at corporate level has direct effect on CCL's operation so needs to be mentioned here. Indeed, with the exception of the mention of Princess Cruises' $40 million fine, the controversies include specific referencing to incidents by CCL ships, and so do belong here. I would say, though, that the sections should be edited to refer more to the specific CCL instances mentioned in the references, and less to the overall corporate picture.Davidships (talk) 10:49, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Freedom fire revert[edit]

@Murgatroyd49:, all of the Accidents and incidents section pertains to specific ships, except for the final paragraph. Schazjmd (talk) 19:50, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
