2006 Arson[edit]

On April 30th someone tried to burn down the school by setting a side building on fire, along with two dumpsters. An entire maintenance building burnt to the ground, including vehicles, tractors and equipment. There is a $5000 reward for information.

This is important information that should go in Carroll HS's wiki entry. Someone put it in. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.97.193.210 (talkcontribs)

  • I'll try to look into this and put a small section on it, but what we can't do is suggest that this is due to the turmoil at the school. It probably is, but there's no way we can prove that until the police or the school or a newspaper indicates this, so it's just speculation right now. Aplomado talk 19:05, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removing arson section[edit]

I decided to remove the arson section. Wikipedia is not a newspaper, and the arson is not really germaine to the history or identity of the school. There's not a shred of evidence that these fires are related to dissent among students, so right now I don't see why we should treat this event as anything more than teenagers being teenagers.
