Article loose end: murder of Uncle Jesse[edit]

With the article mentioning that Stayner's Uncle Jesse was murdered, it would be useful if it were to answer: Did the police have any suspicion that Stayner was the culprit, at either the time it occurred, or when his later murders were revealed? Was that case ever solved? As it is, the reader is left hanging about that murder case. And what was Jesse's full identification, even? 2601:545:8202:4EA5:8CBA:888C:9AD1:BE4D (talk) 09:06, 20 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • This is what I was going to comment on. I was surprised that it shows 4 victims rather than 5. Also, it almost indicates that Stayner had confessed since he had been molested. And during the investigation of the 4 females they claim he had no record of past troubles. The 4th murder may have been prevented if there was more information about his troubled past.
