Surely needs work in many areas[edit]

What little is here is referenced only to practices in the United Kingdom.

In fact, the term cattery generally refers to a breeder, his cats and the premises on which he breeds and raises them.

So if we are to say that there are two definitions, the breeder definition should be given dominance and be placed above the reference to 'boarding catteries'. But to be precise, 'boarding cattery' probably belongs on a separate page.

I suggest therefore that all information on 'boarding catteries be moved to its own page, with a link supplied here of course, and that cattery page focus on breeders.

I'll try to work on this page if we can do that, as I myself am a cattery owner and breeder.

Bad translation[edit]

FR : Quand on clique sur l'onglet langue, il nous est proposé un article en Français Italien et Anglais. Les articles sont nommés ; Chatterie, Gattile et Cattery. Le problème est que les articles ne correspondent pas. Une "Gattile" en Italien ne veut pas dire la même chose que "chatterie". Le premier étant un refuge et l'autre un élevage.

IT : Cliccando sulla scheda lingua, ci viene proposto un articolo in Francese, Italiano e Inglese. Gli articoli sono denominati Chatterie, Gattile e Cattery. Il problema è che gli articoli non corrispondono. Un "Gattile" in italiano non significa la stessa cosa di "Chatterie". Il primo è un rifugio e l'altro un allevamento.

EN : When we search different languages for this page, wikipedia provide pages in Italiano, French and English. There names are Gattile, Chatterie and Cattery.
