Old information[edit]

Cell C is no longer "South Africa’s third cellular provider, after Vodacom and MTN". This statement should be changed because there are now 5 cellular providers including Virgin Mobile South Africa and 8ta. --41.132.150.237 (talk) 12:12, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

4G ?[edit]

But 3rd doesn't mean there are only 3 in total, 3rd simply means that it was the 3rd to be created in South Africa. Cell C does not operate a 4G network, its something like 3.8G, or close to 4G. CEO: Jorge Mendes (2023 - current)

Cell C Limited, based I Buccleuch, Sandton, South Africa, is a 22-year-old proudly South African customer-first mobile network operator, and an enabler that is bridging the digital divide with telecommunications and technology products and services that ensure its customers enjoy the benefits of a modern connected world.

Cell C launched its #ChangeYourWorld brand campaign on 1 February 2021. Their repositioning is about breaking down stereotypes and striving to win against all odds. The campaign celebrates the spirit of resilience. As a proudly South African brand, they believe customers can identify with the story of making it through challenges.
