The composite materials section here doesn't make much sense as written. I added a few missing words, but don't know anything about the topic and am hesitant to make changes which may alter what was meant. I've added a copyedit tag to that section, and will be looking back through past versions of the page, to see if it ever made more sense. If anyone could improve the writing there, that would be great. Thanks. Jessicapierce (talk) 22:27, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Just to save anyone else the time of looking, this content (the composite materials section, and several others) has contained the same unclear wording since it was added several years ago. Contributing editor is no longer active. Jessicapierce (talk) 22:31, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I tried cleaning it up a bit, hope I kept the original meaning intact but I can't be sure. I'm also a bit lost on what the table in the Composite Material section is supposed to be, but I kept it for good measure. --Omega625 (talk) 19:37, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I took a shot at cleaning up the section, and hopefully my edits clarify why the section is important/what the table is about. The original reference for that section is unfortunately behind a paywall, so I couldn't factcheck anything or add additional clarifying content. The two bullet points at the end (tensile strength and elastic modulus) are still unclear, and I'm not sure what the original author intended it to mean. The tables lack references. Where do all these numbers come from? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 145.108.217.142 (talk) 16:26, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
