Celly cell, born Marcellus McCarver was born in Vallejo, CA, just a few minutes drive from Oakland. Around the same time that fellow Vallejo legends Mac Dre and Mac Mall were producing music out of the north Vallejo's Crestside neighborhood, Celly Cell along with the Bay Area's creator of slang E-40 began making their marks in the rival South Vallejo Hillside neighborhood. In 1994, 4 years after he had begun to speak his gangster style into the microphone, Heat 4 Yo Azz was realeased on E-40's Sic Wid It Record label. The climax of his career thus far came only one year following that release. Killa Kali was released on the same label and unknowingly was the precursor to his final album with Sick Wid It Records. In 1998 Celly Cel released G'Filez and split ways with E-40's label. One year later he started his own label which he called Realside at the same time releasing the labels first album Deep Conversation. His latest release Slaps Straps and Baseball Caps has brought back the Southside legend right in the middle of the hyphy movement. Skhorpious 02:38, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Cellycel.jpg[edit]

Image:Cellycel.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:26, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
