The dance team has won more national championships than that. they won in 2000, and maybe 1999 as well. FYI.

Redundant edits[edit]

I don't believe that because an infobox has a template location for coordinate info it is required to be placed there. Throughout Wikipedia, the upper right location of the page is the most general place for this to go. Also, I understand some of the subjective info being removed. The AP info among a few other items, while uncited, is information that maybe should place a needs citation tag instead of removal. As far as the infobox and coords is concerned, it's probably worth bringing up at Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools, then; the advantage to using the coord box is that it's a centralized location to look for the information, both as a human and so that Wikipedia can be used as a database. Much like duplicating the external link to the school page in the infobox and the "External links" section, duplicating the coords to be "inline,title" allows it to be shown in both the standard infobox location and at the upper right location.
As far as notability of AP courses are concerned, many schools offer it, so it isn't a very unique thing. See WP:NOTDIR; not every class the school offers needs to be listed, and unless reliable sources can be found to show the notability of a topic, it likely isn't notable.
Finally, in response to "maybe should place a needs citation tag instead of removal", see WP:PROVEIT; the burden of proof is on content- so it's more important that sources should be found than that it should remain in Wikipedia, especially when something like notability is in question. tedder (talk) 21:58, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There are a couple of school templates being used. I don't know why this isn't more standardized.
The only "A-class" school listed on WP:NOTDIR has the coordinates listed upper right area of article like it most generally is in pages of cities, states, buildings, etc. Of those listed as "good," nine of them have the coordinates upper right only and none have the coordinates only in the infobox only. 97.121.49.167 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:33, 13 April 2009 (UTC).[reply]
