Beloved Song[edit]

I really like this song. It's fun to sing, and to laugh at the irony. Can you imagine if you liked a girl and later were thumbing through the pages of a girly magazine and saw her on the pages in between?! Funny lyrics! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.105.21.125 (talk)

  • The song was written to point out the hilarious hypocrisy of guys who hotly and loudly defend their right to enjoy porn despite having no respect at all for the actresses that provide said porn. --NellieBly (talk) 02:15, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good point. I have no tolerance for hypocrisy. For what it's worth (very little, I'm sure), I enjoy porn from time to time but I have a great deal of respect for anyone who's willing to take her clothes off for my viewing pleasure.  :-) Captain Quirk (talk) 03:52, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Asian Australians?[edit]

I removed the following from intro. "Asian Australians are very fond of it." Vandalism? See also Asian Australians 122.107.58.27 (talk) 07:06, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A Tiskit A Tasket[edit]

A slightly modified form of the recurring riff from "A Tiskit A Tasket" appears repeatedly in "Centerfold", starting at the very beginning of the recording and finishing in whistling at the very end of the recording. Is there any documentation concerning this fact?107.185.145.26 (talk) 19:12, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I doubt it. I don't think the melody is all that similar. Captain Quirk (talk) 03:53, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Martha Quinn rumor trivia[edit]

Back in the day, common rumors were going around that Mtv VJ Martha Quinn was in the Centerfold music video. Martha has stated it wasn't her. This topic can easily be found on the internet by searching with google. • SbmeirowTalk • 23:07, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for the note. I removed the Onion parody source and the genre which was supposedly sourced by it. Binksternet (talk) 20:50, 1 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
