Image added[edit]

Ski-equipped Cessna A185E on Campbell Glacier (7,500 ft), British Columbia, in 1996

As per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Aircraft/page_content#Images I suggest that this new image be removed from the article for two reasons:

  1. the technical image quality is very poor - washed out colours, poor focus, etc
  2. The primary focus of the picture is of a woman posing in front of the aircraft and not the aircraft and

This is really a "tourist photo" and not of the normal image or subject quality one would expect in an encyclopedia. If anyone objects to removing it please indicate your reasons. - Ahunt (talk) 15:26, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, lacking any objections it will be removed - Ahunt (talk) 19:14, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Changing redirects from Cessna Skywagon and Skywagon to disambiguation[edit]

The redirections from Cessna Skywagon and Skywagon to this article seem a bit myopic because the Skywagon name applies equally to the 185 and later versions of the 180. I propose instead to change (1) the Skywagon page to a redirect to Cessna Skywagon and (2) the Cessna Skywagon page to become a disambiguation page that points to both this article as well as to Cessna 180. Comments, please? Jim Ward (talk) 02:16, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually the Skywagon name was also used for certain 206 & 207 models as well, as explained in that article, so would suggest adding them to the disambig page! Good plan - go for it! - Ahunt (talk) 13:09, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good point about the 206 and 207. I'll wait a short while for others to comment before acting on this. Jim Ward (talk) 15:23, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with a dab page but note the 206 was the Super Skywagon not Skywagon. MilborneOne (talk) 18:46, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Quite true it was, but the 207 was called "Skywagon" for a while, prior to "Stationair 7" and "8". I think they all should still be listed on the proposed dab page. - Ahunt (talk) 21:00, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes no problem with the 207 ,just wanted to make clear that the 206 was a Super - still can be on the dab page. MilborneOne (talk) 21:17, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sensing an overabundance of agreement, it's done. Jim Ward (talk) 21:21, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good! - Ahunt (talk) 21:40, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Laotian flag needed.[edit]

I added Laos to the list of operators, but lack the skills to dub in the now obsolete national marking of the Kingdom of Laos. However, it should not be difficult to locate, as the Erawan, or three-headed elephant, is also the national marking of Thailand.

Fixed. - Ahunt (talk) 20:07, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
