What's going on with the "edit wars" about Dan Preston?

According to the TabletMag article that is referenced, Dan Preston is 33 years old (now 34) and bought the chateau in 2022. He himself also claims on his Youtube channel that he bought the chateau. Both pieces of information have been edited out by an IP without providing alternative sources, the same IP who did these edits also tried to edit in that Preston was 50 years old which seems way off based on his videos. What is going on? What is the tangible source of the doubts in his ownership and age? HalvarMA (talk) 11:04, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
