Names[edit]

Can the names of characters portrayed by Deepika Padukone and Mithun Chakraborty be confirmed by anyone? --Maurice45 (talk) 19:20, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

Could a registered user please move this article to the correct English-language title, which is Chandni Chowk to China with "to" in lowercase. That's the way it's spelled in all the Warner Bros. materials. The graphical text of the poster title is all capitalized, yet we're not calling the article CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA. -- 207.237.223.118 (talk) 04:33, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Public Reception[edit]

I think after 3 days now of the Movie Release it's time to add Review and Stuff about the movie. The Rating and others by IndiaFm or TOI or TV channel. and Lets not get biased here.. and Post true stuff. - -satishynd —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.95.50.114 (talk) 06:10, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unacceptable statement[edit]

The beginning of the film states that "Buddha was born in India" and as a matter of fact it is not true. He was born in Lumbini Nepal which can be verified from the UNESCO world heritage page [1]. This sort of factual errors should not promoted by any sectors and hence I think it should be included in this page about the movie. Rajbhanu (talk) 22:30, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An acceptable way of adding that information to the article could be to find a verifiable external source that criticises the error, and quote it in neutral language. --Bonadea (talk) 07:43, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have a page from UNESCO world heritage site which is "http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/666" but despite trying so many times I could not add it over to the page. The director of the movie has been criticized for using false or unproved content in promoting his movie. For instance the movie begins with the note that Buddha was born in India, which as it is known is false and Buddha was actually born in Lumbini of Nepal UNESCO.Rajbhanu (talk) 04:43, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That link is in the article (although it's doubtful whether it should be), as is the information about criticism concerning the statement about Buddha's birthplace. --Bonadea (talk) 08:26, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
