"born in 1685 in what is now Germany"[edit]

It was always German! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.135.208.38 (talk) 18:46, 30 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

The title is Chandos Anthem No.1 /Jubilate in D Major "O, be joyful in the Lord" which is too much, and badly formated. It should be "No. 1", and the rest could go to redirects, and the best solution might be to write an article about eleven anthems. I will do that if nobody beats me to it. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:33, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, good idea. I created this article when I was new here and the title does need to be changed. I had the idea to do separate articles on each anthem but couldn't find enough sources for all of them. One article would be better.Smeat75 (talk) 14:36, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I am now doing it, Chandos Anthems, just started. It might still be a good idea to keep this separate. I suggest for a name Chandos Anthem No. 1, and all the other details could be redirects. It needs to be moved anyway, to comply with the MoS, No. 1, not No.1 . Will do once the other article has grown. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:39, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Having read more, Chandos Jubilate might be the best title. Moving. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:06, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
