careful with the merger; anunasika refers to the sound, candrabindhu to the diacritic; there are subtle phonetic differences between these terms (including anusvara) the authors of these articles were apparently unaware of. Someone needs to look it up and give a coherent account. This is all on the level of phonetics, phonologically they are all the same, but there are differences in terminology between Vedic schools afaik, so we need somebody who knows what they are talking about. dab () 12:53, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
