Website that this was copied from is a official US Marine Corps site and as a US Govt biography of the General is not subject to copyright. see http://www.tecom.usmc.mil/HD/Security_Notice.htm I do have plans to reformat and add additional information when I get the time. I've reworded the article to eliminate military-speak and correct typos. The rewording wouldn't be sufficient to overcome copyright violation claims, but as noted above, the article has no problems with copyrights. Rklawton (talk) 04:31, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish-American War service[edit]

It does not appear that Price served in the Spanish-American War (1898). He did not join the Marine Corps until 1906 according to this article and the Who's Who in the Marine Corps article it cites.Noncombatant917 (talk) 13:46, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
