1887- start of service[edit]

The infobox states he joined the french army in 1887, which would mean he became a soldier at 6 or 7 years old. (Llewee (talk) 13:15, 21 May 2019 (UTC))[reply]

Early life[edit]

German Wiki's article says: "His father was the organist, music and German teacher Léon Jacques Huntziger. After the Prusso-German War of 1870, he moved from Alsace to Brittany to avoid military service in the German armed forces. Charles Huntziger also spoke German fluently. He was a pious Catholic, and played the violin in his spare time."

– This a more on his early life would seem appropriate for our article. – Sca (talk) 15:46, 8 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
