Neologisms, inaccuracies and POV[edit]

Charles Richards, a NASA engineer used the Rogallo wing to build one weight-shift kite:NASA Paresev, which inspired John W. Dickenson to build and sell portable ski-kites. His ski kites were then improved to make soarable hang gliders. Neither NASA or C. Richards were ever in the business of creating hang gliders, but a steerable parachute for the Gemini Space Program. See: History of hang gliding. The Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) has determined already John. W. Dickenson the inventor of the Modern Hang Glider and extended such recognition: [1]. What's his name?[edit]

Is it Charles Richards or Charles Richard ? PKT(alk) 16:35, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article gives his surname as Richard; but the article title has Richards. I presume that the article title is incorrect and should be fixed...?--FeanorStar7 15:56, 9 June 2019 (UTC)

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 01:20, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
