Improving this page[edit]

To attain B-class rating, the article currently needs Supporting Materials. As originator of this page, I am not familiar with the setting-up of these items, and am hoping that another editor could help me insert them.

It seems to me that an infobox is not appropriate for the topic. But a panel showing 3 portraits: The Commanders might strengthen the impact:

(i) Bragg (caption: Confederate General Braxton Bragg, victor of Chickamauga, who returned to Tennessee and besieged Chattanooga.)

(i) Rosecrans (caption: Union General William Rosecrans, commanding the Army of the Cumberland, besieged in the city and apparently doomed to surrender.)

(iii) Grant (caption: General U.S. Grant, who relieved the siege by forcing a crossing-point of the Tennessee River.)

If you have any suitable battle-scenes, these could be added/substituted. Valetude (talk) 11:45, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
