Potato breeder?[edit]

Is this the same Chauncey Goodrich mentioned here who introduced a potato from South America that was widely used in breeding modern varieties? The time fits and he was also a reverend, but I'm not entirely sure it's the same person. SmartSE (talk) 13:49, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
