Multiple issues[edit]

I have made a number of changes to help improve this article, but there are still a number of issues that I cannot resolve:

  • The initial article gives the impression of having been copied verbatim from another source, along with references.
  • In the lead, there is a conflict of dates: "Counsillor of State from 1840 to 1843", yet "died in 1841".
  • The article is seems bogged down in trivial data about the trip to China, yet contains nothing about his time as prime minister.
  • He is sometimes referred to simply as Puskhar Shah, and at others as "the Chautariya". Is the latter a title? Does that alter the title of the page? How can this be clarified in the article?
  • Is the spelling of this name correct. I have found many uses of Chautariya Pushkar Shah (skh vs shk) so I have created a redirect page.

Thank You for your edits in this page. The issues you mention are worth noting :
  • I cannot verify the copying from some other source.
  • The correct date of his death is 1846, I have corrected it.
  • Even in his role as prime minister, his importance was minor, he was just a figure-head as a prime minister, minister RanaJung pande had the greater power, however I am searching for his history as prime minister, I will work on it when I find the sources.
  • Yes, "Chautariya" is a title. Could anyone consider moving this page to simply Puskar Shah?
  • I believe the correct spelling is Puskar Shah. Again, Could anyone consider moving this page to simply Puskar Shah?

Renaming[edit]

{{subst:Requested Move|Pushkar Shah|reason= Chautariya is only a title given to seniormost non-succeeding royal and not a given name or family name.}} Airkeeper (talk) 13:16, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
