edit needed[edit]

I live in Chelsea Oklahoma and have for the past 56 years. My great grandfather was born here in 1889. Your historical description of my hometown is WRONG! I am quite curious about your sources for this information. You have stated that Chelsea was originally located 15 miles west of it's current location but was destroyed by a tornado and relocated to it's current location. That is incorrect. Chelsea has NEVER been wiped out by a tornado, and has been located right where it is now, from the very beginning! When Chelsea was first established in the early 1890's, by a crazy man named A.J. Blackwell, (who is buried in our local cemetery with graves dating back to at least 1885), it was established right where it is today. Three miles south was the City of David, Oklahoma, also founded by Mr. Blackwell, which was completely destroyed by a tornado in 1899 I believe. It was never rebuilt and the land was later annexed by Chelsea which has grown considerably since those days. There are historical accounts regarding all of this and I have been in contact with several of our local historians and none of them have been able to uncover ANY information of the town of Chelsea Oklahoma ever having been located anywhere other than where it is today. All the historical accounts we've managed to dig up show that Chelsea was founded in it's current location. I'd like to see this corrected on Wikipedia.
