Woody Allen[edit]

Is there any source for the assertion that the couplet about baseball is a "direct reference" to a random line from a Woody Allen movie? The idea of thinking about baseball to prolong lovemaking has been mentioned many, many times in pop culture, probably dating back well before Play It Again, Sam. Is there anything anywhere that states Lane was referring to Woody Allen specifically? Because this smells of original research to me.Crazydiamond1to9 (talk) 00:53, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering that myself. If no one can find a reference I say delete it. Tithonfury (talk) 23:17, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is a "cultural reference"?[edit]

Pizza Box - Sources?[edit]

Is there any source for the assertion that the lyrics were written by Lane on a pizza box or is this an ‘urban legend’?

Is there anything anywhere that proves that this pizza box was on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Destin, Florida?

NOTE - The Hard Rock Cafe in Destin, Florida, permanently closed in June 2014.

Are there any photographs anywhere that shows the pizza box (that has yet to be proven to exist) on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Destin, Florida?

There ARE photographs that are easily available online that show that the waitress dress from the ‘Cherry Pie’ music video was on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Destin, Florida.

Also, there ARE photographs that are easily available online that show that the pizza box used by Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue to write the lyrics to ‘Merry-Go-Round’ upon was on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Destin, Florida.

Clarification with source(s) or remove. WJPK (talk) 22:05, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
